Dear Peter & Michele
We stayed in Stable Cottage from Sat 22nd May. Just a line to say how
much we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very comfortable and the views
amazing. Thank you for your warm welcome. It was a most relaxing
holiday. We will certainly recommend your cottages.
With best wishes, Ena & Les Harker

Dear Michele and Peter,

Sorry we missed you when we left but we did get an earlier start than anticipated.
We would like to thank you for a wonderful week in Chanonry it was another amazing week for us, we went down to Chanonry point for our last afternoon and thought we were going to be disappointed but the Dolphins must have known, we saw a mother and calf leap out of the water a couple of times and then we spotted one riding the bow wave of a freight ship leaving the estuary, plus many other Dolphins passing through, memories for ever.
We will be returning hopefully on a yearly basis from now, you have such a wonderful place to live and Linda and I are very envious.
Take care and thanks again.

Subject: thank you

Thank you for a lovely holiday; we definitely plan to
return. After a great week of dolphin sitings, we were
really pleased to finish our holiday by watching them for
ages on saturday morning from our cottage.
Thanks again,

Dear Peter and Michele

We enjoyed our holiday very much, having never ventured up to the Highlands before. But back to normal now, and work tomorrow.    We were lucky enough to see red deer in your field by the dirt track to the farm and also saw Red Kyte on 2 occasions from the balcony of the house. It was hunting over the farm land and we could see it really clearly without binoculars.  It came really close and we could see it in its full glory. We also saw a real buzzard, not the carved one, sat on the post next to your carved one, on one occasion. We saw dolphins and seals off channonry point, as others have. We went to the Heather Heritage centre, off the A95, and they are obviously making an effort to attract both birds and red Squirrels. We were lucky enough to see a pair both playing up a tree, and then they came closer to within approx 3 ft of the viewing point. It was the first time we had ever seen red squirrels, apart from on the tv, and they were beautiful. We saw herons fishing as we were driving towards Avoch at low tide. I also have a love of highland cattle, and really wanted to see some "hairy cows" as i call them. They seem to be in short supply these days, but managed to find some on the farm towards the wildlife park, and also a small number on a farm between the turning off the A9 and Hillockhead itself. They were gorgeous.

Many thanks Brian and Chris Willett

PS Many thanks for letting us change our booking date. The relaxing week was just what the doctor ordered to recharge the batteries.

Hi Michele and Peter,

Many thanks for letting us stay at your lovely cottages. The view was just so relaxing, and waking up to it after arriving in the dark the evening before was just magical.  Having the 2 cottages for our party was ideal as there was always a quiet space to escape too! The kids just loved your dogs and horses...and the games room, especially the selection of DVDs and videos. Personally I can highly recommend the lady who does massages- lovely and relaxing. `    We would love to come back....the only fault at all that I can think of is that we had to leave!

All the best Fiona and Dave Briggs

Hello Michelle and Peter,

I'm sorry we didn't say goodbye personally when we left Hillockhead
last Saturday as we wanted to say thank you. We had a wonderful restful
time and we really appreciated all the special touches that you
provide, like the Christmas tree and lights. It was truly a home from
home and we were very snug and warm during that very cold spell. Mum,
at 85, is quite reluctant to leave her own house these days, but she
was completely comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed her week. It was a
perfect way to bring in the new year. We hope to come back again
sometime soon.

All the best to you and the family for 2009, and many thanks once
again.

PS. I've attached a photo of your house at dusk. Hiilockhead is a
magical spot!

Dear Michelle & Peter

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our recent holiday in The Stables
cottage.  It was a real joy and we loved every minute!  I've passed your
details onto a couple of people at work so if they get in touch, you'll
know where they came from!

However, I sincerely hope that around this time next year I shall be
getting in touch with you again with a view to booking for 2010!

Hope to see you again in 2010!

Kind regards and very best wishes,

Peter / Michelle

Lynn and I just wanted to say a big thank you for the holiday we had staying in your excellent cottage - the Stables - earlier in September.

What a fantastic place - the views, the scenery around the area, the peace and quiet, the dolphins at Chanonry Point, even the weather was kind to us.

Lynn says its the best holiday she has ever had, so I'm sure we'll be back some time in the future and will happily recommend the accommodation there to any friends, family, work colleagues etc that may consider a holiday in Scotland

Dear Michele and Peter, Just a short note to thank you both very much for the lovely holiday we have just had at Hillockhead. The Dolphin Cottage was  delightful, with super views of the firth from the balcony. The walks around the complex were first class and we thought your video/book room an excellent idea. Margaret and Michelle saw far more dolphins than the expected at Chanonry Point and have numerous photos and videos. Thanks again as we hope to return in the future.

   Best Wishes,
