Well sometimes!!
We have had everything from Summer temperatures and snow in the last week! (by the way, we did have a white Christmas and it was magical)
Still the Highlands are lovely in the Spring with Spring flowers appearing and the days much milder but snow capped mountains still in the background.
I bought some lovely plants for my rockery at the organic farm next door to us, Jo's garden enterprise - well worth a visit. I haven't got round to planting them yet, that's always the problem! And if anyone fancies some weeding whilst they are here, feel free to get stuck in!
Talking of enterprise, look out for our new service - Tony's car wash service! My son Tony (15 in July) thought it would be a good service to guests as well as a bit of pocket money for himself. Just ask for details.
Sad news about Jack, our Shetland pony, he died very suddenley a few months ago, we really miss him.
We now have a new companion for Finne, also a black Shetland called Kieran (means small dark one in Gaelic).
The evenings are getting longer and longer, it hardly seems to go dark once we get to May and June.
Come and see for yourselves!
