Actually there are 2 new arrivals - a gorgeous little Shetland pony called Jack and a Highland pony called Finne.

Jack is only 28 inches high but more than makes up for it in spirit! and Finne is a 13 hand pony just 4 years old.  They have both come from the ILPH (International League for the protection of horses). For my youngest daughter Nynke it is like Christmas and birthday all come together!  As soon as I get a spare minute I will put some photos on the photo gallery - along with all the other ones I have been meaning to put there!

Talking of Christmas it has suddenley turned very cold here!  Could a white Christmas be on the cards?  It does look lovely here at Christmas, we put lots of lights up and the cottages look extra cosy with their little Christmas trees.

The other news of course is that our new cottage Chanonry is ready and it looks great. It really does have a luxurious feel - we were very tempted to move in ourselves!
